ISSUE NO.1
So you want to write for Guitar Pedagogy, eh?
Guitar Pedagogy philosophy is that guitar teachers can help a student learn in an environment that is constructive, creative, and fun for all involved. Article submissions should offer suggestions for innovative ways to teach students how to become the best musicians that they can be.
There are plenty of other places on the web where guitarists can go for licks, tablature, chord progressions, fast "fretboard-memorization" videos, and the like. If you especially like one of those sites, or if you especially don't like one, maybe you'd like to write a Web Review (see below). In the meantime, we'll stick with what we like (see above). Oh yeah, and we have one Golden Rule: No Tablature.
We welcome any and all reviews of guitar-related websites out there in cyberspace, as long as they are thoughtful, objective, and keep in mind the basic objectives of Guitar Pedagogy. Also, while we are interested in more cyber-related issues like usability, etc., reviews should focus primarily on the musical content of the site rather than its design.
Once you've got a rough draft of your article (or at least a very detailed outline), fill out our handy dandy submission form (below). If you have image files that you'd like us to use in conjunction with the article, you can upload them with the "Choose File" button (please, no more than 10 megabytes). At the moment, we're not able to accept sound recordings.
